Can Somebody Help Me......... -ACID Product Family

Subject:Can Somebody Help Me......... Posted by: Mandizzle Date:4/21/2002 6:28:23 PM I want to record lyrics to an instrumental track I already have as mp3 format. How can I play the track and sing along to it. I can get the singing part recorded separately but I dont know how to combine the two parts together and then output them as one mp3 file. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I don’t recall if Sound Forge XP can deal with MP3 files, but I know that 5.0 can. Anyway, open your MP3 in Sound Forge. Do a “save as” and choose to save it as a Windows .wav file. Open that file in Acid and record your vocal track. You can then render that file back to an MP3 in Acid! You might be able to open your already recorded vocal track in Sound Forge too, and save it a a .wav. Then beatmap it and try to sync them up in Acid. The first way will definately work if you don't mind doing the vocals over again. I hope this helps.
