I want ACID Pro 3 to send the MIDI data from an imported MIDI File to my Roland JV1010. When I load the MIDI File into ACID Pro and play a note on my MIDI keyboard, the sounds are transmitted to the JV1010. However, when i hit the start button in ACID Pro, the JV1010 displays a MIDI communication error message and will not play back the MIDI File. Here's my set up and would appreciate any help: 1: ACID Pro 3 version Of 2: Win98SE 3: Roland JV1010 Sound module 4: Sound card: Egosys 'Wave Terminal 2496' with Egosys Miditerminal 2120 adapter hooked to the WaveTerminal 2496 running the E-WDM drivers they provide. I have the devices set up correctly. Any ideas John Ialuna john@midi.com.au www.midi.com.au |

i use wamirack24 by egosys...midi is routed by cubase 1. be sure the jv is setup to send/receive data 2. set the proper filters and toggle exclusive on/off 3. if you have a sequencer, use it to test the midi file 4. if those don't work, there must be a midi filter disabled in acid. go find it... good luck |
