Entropy is looking for two canidates interested in remixing an electronic track for a forthcoming compilation. Interested artists should have 1-2 years of remixing/sequencing experience and similiar artist & label influences: (Underworld, Fluke, Luke Slater, Green Court, Yves DeRuyter, Bonzai Records, React Music, Nukleus; to name a few.) The ideal candidate should also be familiar with the current trance, dance, nu-NRG, & drum-n-bass, and acid techno scene. You should also have an excellent knowledge of loop based software, i.e. ACID, and have access to additional equipment used for remixing, such as synths, samplers, SEQ's, drum machines, modules, etc. You will be provided with one CD-ROM data disc containing both .AIFF & .WAV files. The rest is up to you. The selected remix artist will be credited on the compilation (including contact details) but will receive no monetary compensation, nor is any copyright implied or given. You will then have one month to complete your remix. Local artists in Chicago area preferred; all will be considered, however.
