Subject:AcidXPress vs. Acid 3.0, what is the difference?

If I download the demo of XPress and then purchase it, does it turn it into the full version of Acid 3 or do I have to download the Acid 3 demo? I'm just trying to figure out which would be a better purchase. Thanks.

Acid Xpress is free. Just download and use it.

They have weekly "8-packs" that you can download and use.

As MyST mentioned, Acid Xpress is free. If you elect to purchase Acid Style, Music, or Pro, all you need to do is buy the representative serial number and enter it into the Acid Xpress registration menu. Then ::POOF:: your new version of Acid is "activated". All the Acid's are the same piece of software and the same file. They simply have different licenses that activate different features (and cost different amounts of money). That way, you don't have to download a new piece of software if you upgrade. Pretty cool, huh?

POOF is a great description. Love it.

Also you can get the loop CD. When you purchse the download, you get the choice to have this "Optional Content" sent to you or not. The CD is free, but you have to pay shipping and some people would rather not. If you're not sure about the shipping cost, begin to fill out the form as if you planned to get the CD, then when you get to the Compute shipping stage, check the price. If you don't like the price just use use <Back to back out of it.

I downloaded Acid 3.0 demo and I can't find any loops. Where are they?

When you download the 8-pack, you get a small project containing 8 loops. Use these and re-arrange,edit,etc.
The 8-packs are different every week, so go back and get more, they're FREE!
If you enjoy using Acid and want to dive deeper into it, you can purchase loop CDs from this site.
