Sound forge edits, plays, opens files just fine. IT just won't record them. I am using a terratec ews 88mt sound card under win xp. Acid and Vegas audio le both have no problems recording. however, when I try to record into Sound forge the pitch is lowered and the audio has some bizarre distortion on it. I cannot figure this one out. all of the levels appear to be fine (not in the red). I know it is not the sound card because the other programs record fine. I just want to make some mono 24/96 loops and disc based files and sound forge is driving me insane. Please help! |

Are you recording via the Terratec's S/PDIF? Be absolutely sure the sample rate you're recording at matches that what's set in the Terratec's software mixer for S/PDIF sample rate (if there is one). Otherwise, you might get what you're experiencing due to sample rates mismatching. HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
