Posted by: Spirit Date:5/13/2002 11:41:22 AM I do a kind of "sampling" with AcidPro3 where I'll record a a long slab of environemntal sound, or talking, or various sound fx into one long track. I then use the extremely fast and friendly Chopper to distribute maybe ten or twenty short snippets onto the track. My question is whether Acidpro regards this as one giant long track (just like a three-minute one shot), or whether it just reads the "chopped" part (say 10 individual hits of two seconds each). My system has complained about this method, but if it's a stupid way of doing things performance-wise I'll suppose I'll go back to sampling individual wavs in SF and then dropping them into Acidpro. Problem there is that you get masses of tracks each with only one little event.... :( Any thoughts ?
