Subject:separate tempos for different tracks?

Is there a way (other than editing the tempo first in another program) to adjust the tempo of the tracks separatly, making it much easier to mix waves together? The tempo button only seems to work for adjusting the whole song, but not leaving one wave track alone, and just adjusting a single tempo without affecting the others. |

The project tempo is meant to change the project, not the track. What you do is determine and set the tempo of the file using the track props for the media. You can also use the beatmapper for this. Then when you set the project tempo, the tracks will change automagically to match the tempo. Peter |

You can quickly change the tempo for a given loop by double-clicking the track's track icon in the track list, click the "Stretch" tab and adjust the value under the "Number of beats" setting. Halve the value to double the tempo, and double the value to halve the tempo. (Got that?) HTH, Iacobus |

an easier way is to do it this way: (this is an example!) Track 1: you want it 160bpms. Track 2: you want it 130bpms. Track 3: you want it 100bpms. simply set the tempo of the project to 160. then lay down track one. when youre done with track 1, where it ends, hit the "T" and add a tempo change to 130. then lay down track 2. then where it ends, hit "T" again and change the tempo to 100. easy enough! -Sin http://zwap.to/ft13 |

That's a great idea. It sounds like, though, that llama4 wants to change the tempo for a single track whilst it plays with the rest of the project. Iacobus |
