How do I create a Mix CD of previously existing music that overlays and fades between songs so that each song is still a unique track for the cd player instead of a monolith of sound. I would really appreciate any help you could offer. Need_Help |

You'll have to set loop regions one at a time for each track and render that track out as a separate .wav file. Then use your favorite CD burning software to create a DAO disk from these .wav files. Each file will become a track on the CD. Keep in mind that if your tracks crossfade, then the beginning point of the track will be somewhat arbitrary. You won't be able to set up track divisions that allow every song to play completely without "claiming" part of the tracks before or after. If you set each track to start at the beginning of the crossfade and the listener selects just one track, then the crossfade at the end of the song won't be heard. |

Thank You, I tried that and was able to get the different wavs. Then I went to put my songs together and realized that I don't have a program that can burn songs without the lovely 2 second break. can anyone recomend a free download that would work? |

You can try Nero from Ahead http://www.nero.com which is a free demo for a limited time and only $50 to purchase the full version. What software did your burner come with? If you have Easy CD Creator then it's capable of Disk-At-Once burning. |
