I need Acid to slave from my digital 8 track.I was advised in a previous message reply that I could trigger Acid with midi time code.Can anyone eloborate on this.What's the differnce between midi time code and midi sync out CLOCK.

You may want to check out the range of articles on MIDI sync and ACID Pro.

Basically, ACID likes to be the master in any sync situation, though it can be triggered via MTC (MIDI Timecode).
