Hey! I installed Sound Forge 4.5 XP on my computer when it came with my sound card. Everything worked fine: I played around with sounds by recording the stuff that came out of my sound card - what I mean is I used 3rd party software to make noises, then I recorded them into Sound Forge, and editted them there. However, I recently formatted by hard drive and when I try to record the sound output, it says it's silent, even though I can HEAR the music or sounds coming out of my sound blasters. Does anyone know I can fix this? Thanks, Voytek |

if you have a Sound Blaster Live or Audigy, you have to go to the Play Control, then choose Options -> Properties and select Recording in the new window. when you click on OK you'll see all the recording inputs available. you have to choose What U Hear if you want SF to record what you're hearing thru the speakers. |
