A couple of ways: -For a specific event on the timeline, move your mouse cursor towards the top of the event (stretch the track vertically for best results). The cursor should turn into a pointing finger with a vertical, double-headed arrow and a pop-up that reads, "Gain is at 0.0 dB". Simply drag to adjust the gain on the event. -Highlight a track by clicking its icon in the track list. Press V on your keyboard. This will insert a volume envelope (which should be brownish color; stretch the track vertically if you don't see it). Insert points along the envelope by double-clicking and drag those points to adjust. You can also right-click segments between points and adjust fade properties, like a linear or slow fade. Note that these techniques work best on singular tracks in the project. Want to do volume changes across the entire mix? Either bounce down tracks and use a volume envelope OR render the whole project to WAV and use the full version of Sound Forge (which lets you apply dynamic volume adjustments via Process>Fade>Graphic on the menu bar) on the mix.
