Subject:Acoustic Mirror doesn't work?

I've got a fairly old PC, a P2 350 -- I just installed Sound Forge 5 on my system, and acoustic mirror doesn't do a damn thing...I select my audio, click on Effects --> Acoustic Mirror, the HD clicks for a second, and nothing. Same with WaveHammer. Never had SF before at all, but I do have Acid Pro 3 on my system. WTF?

I know I've got an old PC but it's not like I'm expecting it to render in realtime or anything. No help on this issue in the Help file. What the heck is happening?
