Subject:troubleshooting with extract audio from cd and burn cd.

Hi!
I hope one of you guys can help me...
I'm having problems with Sound Forge 6.0, when I try to extract an audio from cd or burn a cd from sound forge I get the following message:

An error occurred during the current operation.
An exception has occurred.

and, when i click ok, it closes the program.
I cant even access the cd settings.

Please, any help will be much appreciated!
