I can't open Vegas nor SF 5.0 these days. When Soundforge scans for plugins, this message from RUNDLL occurs:

"An exception occurred while trying to run "FRGKRN.dll,_SfPlugIn_Grovel@16_1 Sonic_foundry_grovel_Event"

What is that?

And Vegas doesn't recognize my serial number any more. Acid stops. And etc. etc.

I have never visited this forum before. Can anyone help me?

Was this ever resolved? I'm getting the same error now in Sound Forge 5.0. It doesn't cause a problem in Vegas Video 3 for me, but I might be using a different version than you were back in September.

My O/S is Windows XP Home Edition and I've got boatloads of other audio apps installed as well (Reason, Reason 2.0 beta, Reaktor3, Sonar 2.0, FruityLoops 3, several 3rd party DXI plug-ins, etc.)
