I know acid will not do this. I have nero and vegas audio. Could somebody please help me step by step in converting the project in acid to where I can use it in Vegas Audio. When I try and open the file in vegas it keeps coming up as an invalid file. All i want to do is take the entire megamix of 74 minutes and keep the cross-fades and what not, but seperate the tracks so that I can use skip instead of using fast forward. I want to do all of this without any kind of gap between the tracks also. PLEASE HELP! |

In ACID, place markers where you want the new tracks to start. Also place markers at the beginning and end. Double click between the 1st & 2nd markers to select it as a loop region. Render (version 3) or Save As (Version 2) and select the option to render/save the loop region only. Name the file track01 or whatever you like and save it as a .WAV file, 44.1KHz, 16bit, stereo. When the render/save is done, double click between the 2nd & 3rd markers. Repeat the render/save. Continue until you have created a .WAV file for each track. If your version of ACID doesn't support markers and rendering/saving loop regions, you can render the entire mix to one long .WAV file, then open this file in Vegas to split it into tracks as described above. You may then load these .WAV files into whatever CD burning program you like (such as Nero), and create an audio CD in DAO (Disk At Once) mode. Each .WAV file will become a track on the CD. |
