Subject:Acid Pro 3.0 and sound card issues

I recently installed Acid Pro 3.0 on my computr. I tried to run the application, but upon playback the computer states that Acid works with a "windows based" sound card. ????? I am running windows!!!! I went into preferences, and tried to change the audio card settings between the two options they give but it still gives me the same problems. I am using Lexicon's Core 2 with Cubase 5.0, Please Help!!!!!!

make sure your settings are correct in Windows Control Panel.

also update your sound cards drivers.
