Subject:Batch converter not working with DV

I'm trying to use the new WaveHammer plugin on about 100 video files. These files are raw DV avi files. I can open them in Sound Forge without a problem, but when I try to use Batch Converter on them, I get an error, "No compatible video codec was found." in the Status column. What am I doing wrong? Is it that Batch converter doesn't support processing avi's?
