I've got a CD that I made years ago and I'd like to remix the individual tracks (i.e. bass, drums, etc.) is it possible to extract all those individual tracks from a CD?

If you have the full version of Sound Forge 5 or 6, go to Tools / Extract from CD. I don't know if the XP versions have that or not.

But....
as a reminder Sound Forge will only do ONE Stero track. It sounds like you want to remix.. you'll need VEGAS to do multi track mixing.

If it's already mixed to 2 track there is nothing you can do to seperate it. Refer to FAQ #6.

Even if you have Vegas or the full blown version of Sound Tools HD for that matter, you can't extract the individual (multi) tracks from an audio CD. Can't be done, period. NO WAY, NO HOW.
Sorry if this is a disapoinment.
