Subject:SF 6.0a: Loss of cursor and blank dialogs on Dual Monitors

I'm using Forge 6.0a on a system with a Matrox G450 Dual Head card, and I'm getting real strange behavior sometimes when I have a bunch of windows open.

A few times now, when Sound Forge is on the secondary (right-hand) monitor the mouse cursor dissappears whenever it's over Forge, reappearing on the left monitor, or outside of the SF window on the right. Nothing short of closing and reopening Forge brings the cursor back when over Forge. This doesn't happen when Forge is on the left monitor.

Also, moving a dockable window to the right monitor when Forge is on the left, sometimes results in the window refusing to dock, unless docked on the left.

Please Fix!

I have the identical setup and no problems. Are you stretching Forge across both screens when using or just pulling certain dialogs across? Also -what OS are you using?

No, I'm using SF6 on the right hand (secondary) screen when this happens and I'm using Windows XP.

I remember something like this a way back when I first got dual monitors. Does it happen when Forge is on your main (primary)? I have never had Forge maxed out on my secondary to see what happens....maybe I will try that tonight....

Cheers,
