Alright, so I'm doing an informative speech in my oral communications speech about music production and I need a visual aid. I would like to include screen shots from Acid and Sound Forge if possible. So far the only options I've come up with is to copy/paste screen shots from the SF site into a graphics program and then print, or just try to take a picture of the screen with my digital camera. With the first option, it won't really work because I want screen shots of specifically what I am having the audience listen to with my audio aid. The second option kind of works, but the quality is so-so and you can tell that it's a picture so it doesn't look professional enough. Any suggestions??? Thanks. Oh Yeah, I always thought it would nice to be able to print out a copy of projects in Acid anyways, just to have a printed record of the project for my files. |

Have you tried using the PrintScreen key to copy what you see on the screen to the clipboard? Press this key when you have the display you want on your screen, then open up whatever graphics editing software you choose and look for a "paste as new image" function. Crop as you wish and save to a file. |

You can also paste into Word or whatever you use and add notes. Better yet...you can paste into Powerpoint and make a slide show(computer based) with speaker notes and handouts. You can also have the presentations made into 35mm slides. It is very simple to do. If interested in e-mail me at sabergner@yahoo.com. Steve |
