fairly new to this so bear with me, whats the best way to rig up my keyboard so i can say add a bassline of my own? |

It depends on what you want to do. Audio or MIDI tracks? For audio send the line level output of your keyboard to the line-in of your sound card. Make sure “Line-in” isn’t muted in the Play Control. Use the line-out and not the phones out. If you want to run stereo, you’ll need a cable that goes from two 1/4” male monos into one 1/8” stereo male. Alternatively you can run the keyboard to a mixer and then the output of the mixer to your sound card. Make sure you use the line-in and not the mic-in. You’ll get a cleaner sound. For MIDI you’ll have to get help from someone else. It’s still a bit of a mystery to me. In Acid, click the record button. You'll need to select audio or MIDI at the top of the window. I think it defaults to audio. HTH Steve |
