Subject:Error when trying to record

I have installed Acid Pro 3 on a computer with a PCI sound card (ES1371 compatible). (I don't know much more about this sound card)
When I try to record in Acid, I receive the following error message :

"The record device Creative Sound Blaster PCI does not support the current input format."

I have tried to change some settings but I've got the same error.

Any ideas ?

Did you try changing the attributes to 16-bit/44.1 kHz before recording? ACID Pro can do up to 24-bit/192 kHz but that soundcard you're using cannot.

Yes, the settings are 44.1 kHz 16-bit stereo in Acid.

However, I can record in Cubase SX without any problems with the same sampling values.

That's why I would like to understand what's happening (although this soundcard is for tests only).

Any clues are welcome !

If you haven't done so already, try going to Options>Preferences on the menu bar and under the "Audio" tab, switch the "Audio device type" field to "Windows Classic Wave Driver" and then select your Soundblaster PCI specifically under the "Default audio playback device" field.

If that doesn't work, try getting updated drivers or reinstall your soundcard drivers if possible. Might want to also consider completely uninstalling and reinstalling ACID Pro as well. (Get the latest build here.)
