I have the following:

Windows XP
1.8 gh
256 k
120 gig harddrive
Dazzle mojhave device

I trying to make a dvd from a vcr that I have hooked up to my computer. I know that I have to set the capture to video since it will not be coming from a dv device. I keep getting the error message that the Dazzle Mojave Device could not be opened. Also, When I go to tools to open video, it is not highlighted so I can not make any changes. Any suggestions.

I know my DV device works because I can go to video wave and turn on my vcr and I can see the movide on my computer to set up my time lines.

Hello,

The Dazzle Mojave device that came with the Dell package is not compatible with our software. Please see the following entry in our Knowledge Base: Dell Movie Studio issues.

Thanks,

Brian - I have the external Hollywood Dazzle connected to the Dell [TI] 1394 OCHI firewire connected to the 4 pin port on my Dell Inspiron. Does VF work with this? I don't have the Mojave.

Grazie,

Yes, if it is just a standard OHCI 1394 port that configuration should work fine. This issue is strictly limited to the Mojave device due to the way they configured the drivers for it.
