ok here is the deal. i used the trim/crop edit in soundforge to extract a piano loop. i then opened it in acid. my project was set at 135 bpm. when i painted the piano loop in it sound like it was on speed and didnt really sound too much like the original. isnt there a way to match the bpm of the piano sample with the bpm of the project without effecting the sound too much? my friend did a remix using the same piano sample and it turned out fine. any suggestions appreciated!

Go into properties for the piano loop and click "preserve pitch when stretching". That should help.
