Subject:Extract audio from cd Posted by: flavid Date:7/19/2002 8:00:43 PM Why can't I get the extract audio from cd to work? I can see the track list in explorer but I can't get the cd to show in the box that asks for the drive. I cannot drag the track to the viewer either. What gives? Have the same problem in Sound Forge and Acid.

There have been some reports that Sonic Foundry's CD extraction software will only work with certain drives if they are the primary drive on an IDE connector. Your CD-ROM drive might be one of these troublesome group and it might be on the secondary connector. If you list your drives & letters, we might be able to tell you if this is the case and give you suggestions for rearranging it to get past this problem.
