I have the older Wamirack 24 and it works great with all my music apps. All 4 ins and 8 outs are available, and Vegas works well using all of them simutaneously. (Well, nearly all. I haven't tried or had the need to have 8 outputs going at once, but I've had 4 in and 6 out going at one time). I've never had a problem with the Wamirack, but I think the AD/DA converters on my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 have just a little more clarity. It could be though that my Audiophile is only 8 months old and the Wamirack is 3 years old. Perhaps Egosys has developed better converters in that time for their new products. I'm using Win 98SE. Don't know how well it works with Win 2K. Hope this helps. Dave |
