I'm trying out the demo version of Acid 3 pro. I would like to hear a internally generated click track (from the PC) against playback. How is this done? It seems like such an feature should be REAL obvious for a looping program. But when I do a search in the HELP files under click track or metronome..nada! Thanks! Dennis |

I'm guessing the idea is that since ACID is beat-based already, a metronome isn't necessary. If you have snapping enabled, all your loops will line up with the beats. |

If you really want a metronome just add a 4/4 kick drum loop to your track. Also, I know that I've seen a couple free metronomes for download on the web. I can't remember where, but I'll try to find them again. |

Well... Acid Pro (not sure if the other versions do or not) allows you to record into it. To record accurately you'd need a click. At least it seems like such a simple thing that I can't imagine it would be overlooked. But you're right. I could just "import" a click sample. When you bring in a long file the BEATMAPPER preview the detected bpm with the use of a click playing along with the loop. So I thought it was something really simply that I was missing.
