Sound Forge 5.0/4.5 with Emagic Logic -Sound Forge - PC

I'm running logic with an outboard mixer (Roland vm-3100 connected via SCSI). I'm not too familiar with the editing functions on Logic therefore I would like to be able to run SF instead, and then import the files into Logic. Is this possible ? Another issue is that SF 4.5 opens, but closes as soon as I try to open an audio file. SF 5.0 doesnt even open. Any input ? Thanks in advance. Hemant
