I'm using Windows XP Pro and Acid Pro 3 (build 189), and when I Render a piece (no matter the format) it always gives me this error:

I seem to be getting no where... are there any Sonic Foundry employees that handle this forum??

This is mainly a peer-to-peer support forum; SoFo employees do not have to respond in this forum. If they do, it's out of the goodness of their own little musical hearts. If you want help directly from SoFo (for free), email them by clicking here.

There are several things to try:

Try picking up the latest build of ACID Pro here.

Do not run any applications other than ACID Pro, including any utilties, software firewalls, etc., that may be running in the Systray.

Update drivers for all the hardware in your system, including your soundcard and video card.

Gilez,

Please tell us more about your system, like what other software is installed on it, what hardware is inside the box, etc. Also, does this error appear immediately after starting the render, or after a certain amount of time into the process?
