can you take the voice of a wav. and make it say what you want? If you could, can someone please reply on how to do this. |

If you had enough recordings of that particular person speaking, you could chop up the recordings into individual words and phonemes (the "atomic" sounds that words are made of) and build up a library. You could then paste these together (like the old TI Speak & Spell). If you're careful enough and have a big enough selection to work from the result can be quite convincing. Keep in mind that people will pronounce words differently depending on their current emotional state and many other factors. If you mismatch from one state to the other the result will sound very fake. Just a friendly warning ... if you're doing this to try to create false evidence of what someone else says, you can find yourself in prison for a long long time! Even if it's not that, you can still get people pretty mad at you. |
