Is there a way to get more volumn when you are recording? Is there a way to increase the volumn to a file that has already been recorded? Bob |

1) You may adjust the volume while recording with the sound card's mixer control panel. Double-click the little yellow speaker icon, click Options, Properties, Recording, [OK]. You will now be looking at the input volume controls being used while recording (as compared to the output controls used for listening). 2) Process / Volume lets you alter the volume of a file after recording. Process / Normalize will bring up the volume of a file until the loudest peaks are at a preset level (usually close to 0dB). |

Normalize will raise the volume of the files already recorded. To raise the volume of the material you are recording by increasing the level on the playback unit, or in the Windows sound settings. Which version of windows you have makes this different, so just look under the sounds for your version and that should help. RiRo |
