It was Sgt Schultz that said "I know nothing". Colonel Klink's line was: "Hooooogan!" Does that mean I get a free upgrade ;) |

The best way to learn IMHO is to "listen" to what others do and try to emulate in your own way those same techniques. Acid is deeper than what some people give it credit for and in conjunction with soundforge and Vegas this little triumvirant of software is KING! I would check out the next Acid "POWER" book when it comes out. The Acid 4 book from Enovel is just the .PDF in print but the "Power" books are written by another party with in depth tutorials and such. If you want to go to a seminar for sofo products go here and register for the V.A.S.T. TOUR... http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/vvtour.htm I'll be at the October 2nd NYC seminar. This is the place to have ALL your questions answered!!! Hope this helps. Later. |

i looked at the website--$400 i want to go, but maybe not that bad i went to the dv expo--it was interesting but not $400 worth in fact, it was free anyway, is october 2 only dedicated to acid, sound forge and vv3 stuff or is it 50 other vendors screaming on the mic trying to get your attention? also, has anyone ever gone to one of these tours? how was it? acid will be around $500 -- i'm guessing this seminar--$400 my plane ticket to the grammy's in LA when i am nominated for remixer of the year with brittany spears and janet jackson and christina aguilera and j-lo--- first class---$3,600 beverly hills hotel--3 days--$1,500 this could get expensive? :) sb |
