1. Will that stupid recording dialog box "STILL" be in my way when I want to record into acid? When you hit the recording icon here comes this palete that you can't contour/customize/minimize/move the F@ck out of the way! If it was such a "great" idea then why wasn't it implemented into Vegas? Just let me work like in vegas[but with no multitracking support obviously] I know where the project properties are...I don't need them thrown in my face like that.
A simple 2 input recording track like in vegas is more than enough to get the job done.
If this can't be done because of "not enough time/money/coffee" then could you just let me "dock" it on the bottom or a "minimize" button just so that I don't have to deal with it...PLEASE!!!

2.Feature request checkup...I own a microsoft trackball explorer mouse that comes with everything[trackball/scroll wheel/5 buttons]...It works GREAT in Vegas but in acid it doesn't respond the same.
In the area of the "Forward/Back buttons".
In the timeline I can jump from measure to measure, beat to beat, etc. But in acid it just moves in tiny increments nomatter what.

In the Acid/Vegas explorer view I would like to be able to use my forward/back buttons the same way I do in windows explorer. In other words when I browse around looking for audio/video I would like to be able to manuever in/out of folders using them. Instead of having to click on the "move up tree" folder button all the time.
This would speed up my workflow a great deal and I would really appreciate it.

3. Does Acid support 32bit floating point or even 64bit floating point[like in soundforge 6]

4. Will there be a minimize shortcut button for the "bus tracks" area that is split from the track area? I see in the manual that there is a divider which I'm assuming if I double click will make it minimize/etc. Maybe like another F11 feature? Shift+Ctrl+F11?

5.It says in the manual "acid mixes 5.1-channel audio only. Third party authoring software is required to encode final output". Which third party do you guys recommend?

6. Will I be able to "route" my audio signals between buses as well? ie: track 1-to bus A- to bus D- to master?

Thanks. I'll post more soon.

In soundforge 6 when you right click you get a "recent files option". So you don't have to do go the other route to finding a file[bottom of the file menu]. That would also be a great addition to the productivity of acid 4.

How about a "priority files list" in conjunction with the "recent files list". The difference would be that any .ACD/.VEG file in that list will not ever be "pushed" outside of the 9 file list limitation. Alot of times I'm working in a bunch of projects say 3-5 in particular that I'm always going back to. Sometimes without noticing they'll drop off the list and I'll have to find it again just to open it up.

Please take these into consideration. Thankyou.
