i just bought and received acid pro 3.0 from reading this forum for the past 2 weeeks
i have been using vv3 since november and love it!!
i bought books, tutorials cd-roms etc and that really enhanced my learning curve in vv3
the only learning tool available that i could find is SAMS learn acid in 24 hours--
i should be getting it tomorrow in the mail-
are their websites or cd-roms available for acid pro??
tonight i will read the manual--
tomorrow the sams book
i live in nj
i want to learn this to remix---
are there any dj's etc in nj, ny penn, conn that would be willing to tutor me for $$$ if i need it
thanks to all---i'm new and excited to get started
but i know there are a million features that people can get creative with, i just don't know how at all.
thnx to all
sb

As far as other tutorials, I mean there's the book Acid Power and the websites Acidplantet and www.acidfanatic.com. That's about the only other things that I know of that are dedicated solely to Acid (well I think there's another site, but it's in French). If you want general production tips there's a smattering of sites out there (futureproducers.com, dancetech, samplecity, etc... but they tend to focus more on other programs rather than Acid, but I've learned a lot from these sites too).

But seriously, just play, play, play. That was how I learned Acid, it really doesn't take long. It's a really common-sense program.

sonicboom, go to ACIDPlanet and download the 8Pack there. This is a project produced by an ACID user and contains the .acd file, all the loops used, and some notes about the song. Just looking at how someone else set up a song really helped me see what could be done with the software. There's a new 8Pack posted almost every Friday.
