Subject:Acid Pro 4.0 and MIDI

I'm now trying Acid Pro 4.0 demo. I'm glad to see that Acid now support MIDI editing.
Well, at first sight, it's not as complete as other MIDI editors but it should be enough to process basic MIDI tracks.

However, a big problem remains : new versions always come with new bugs ! I have made several projects with Pro 3.0g without any problems (although there are still some minor bugs). Acid 4.0 is more likely to crash and, if we are not careful enough, we could lose our work (and our time).
I mean : "Don't replace a good 3.0g by an unpredictable 4.0 too soon".

I'm aware that time is needed for bugs fixing but :

- As far as I know, there were no public beta versions. If the application crashes, it's obvious that the software is not tested enough (or not in a professional way). Only minor bugs are acceptable in new versions.
(I remember former bugs with Acid 3.0, due to a lack of testing... It's a recurrent problem with Acid).

- MIDI editing should have been implemented in Acid 3.0 from the beginning.
According to me, Acid 3.0 has always been incomplete : record and play MIDI without editing it ? Nonsense...

Fortunately, the upgrade price is reasonable.

Cheers
