Subject:VST Instruments presets - .fxb or .fxp?

Hello,
I have been trying to use the presets the come with my VST Instruments (*.fxb), However, ACID asks for .fxp. Is this correct? I can't use any of the presets that come with the VSIi's I have (which all show as .fxb and can be opened/used in Cubase or Logic).
Hopefull SoFo will fix this or add the option to use .fxb presets with VSTi's.

.fxp is for saving or loading patches
.fxb is for saving or loading banks

What VSTi are you using?
If its Absynth go into the window were you see Factory Preset.glo left click and load banks and you can save them as .fxb

If it's FM-7 go to the Library page and click on the load window

If it's Pro-52 click on Load in the file window

I hope this helps

You can load both fxb (bank of presets) and fxp (single preset) files in ACID.

On the tool bar for the VSTi, you will see two buttons. One with
- a single folder: Loading single preset fxp files
- a multiple folder :loading a bank of presets.

If you hover the mouse over these buttons, a tool tip will help you identify which button is which.
