ok, heres my problem... i recorded an 80 min mix which i wasnt able to fade at the end (because i was mixing ;) ).. i extracted (ripped) the audio with sound forge 5.0 and did my fade at the end (about 10 seconds). When i saved the file it was too big (807mb) to burn onto a cd with finalization (closing it so that I am able to hear it on a cd player) . Am i doing something wrong? Is it the fader information that is making my file so big? What can do to get around this? any help would be appreciated thanks in advance :) |

Are you sure you're saving it again as 44.1KHz, 16 bit, stereo? If you're saving it with a higher bitrate or more than 16 bits it will be larger. Also make sure the file is still the same length. It doesn't sound like you're adding anything to the end, but check again to make sure you don't have any blank space at the beginning or end fo the file. |

Are you burning in the Track-At-Once mode. TAO uses more disc space. Burn as Disc-At-Once (DAO). Unfortunatly, SF does not support this mode, so you will need another CD burning application that does, like Roxio, Vegas Video, ect. |
