Subject:Something better in the old version...

In the old version of SoundForge I used to be able to highlight an entire wave file, and then copy and mix a section of another wave near the end of the highlighted file,,,, if the copy and mixed section extended past the highlighted area,,, the highlighted area would remain highlighted and i could drag and drop it as a new wave, and maintain the file length. Now in SoundForge 6 this feature is gone and I have to remember the time length of the original file, then after I copy and mix, I have to zoom in and try to pin point the exact time of the old file and set it. It's very time consuming when working with a lot of loops. It's slowed down my work tremendously. Does anyone know how to set it so that if your mix extends beyond the highlighted edge, the highlighted area remains highlighted? Thanks.

I'm sure there's a way to get it to work like the old version, but I've checked all the options. Does anyone know?
