What do you exactly want to do with the files, odd? Iacobus |

I mean higlight the file and apply a reverb or other dsp effect-offline (like in SF)instead of adding a effect to a bus |

Ahh...yes, you can do that. Just right-click the particular track and select, Edit in Sound Forge X. ("X" being your particular version of Sound Forge.) If you want to have a particular part of the loop selected when you edit in Sound Forge, open the Chopper in ACID Pro (ALT+2), click on the track to put it in the Chopper, select the portion you want to edit, and right-click and select, Edit in Sound Forge X. The whole loop will load into Sound Forge with the portion you highlighted in ACID Pro's Chopper already selected. From there, modify the file as usual and save. When you switch back to ACID Pro, the changes should automatically be reflected in the file. It would probably be good to access the track's properties (double-click the track's track icon) and click the Reload button as well. (This will update the file's ACIDized properties if any such changes were made.) NOTE: Once you make changes and save in an external editor, it cannot be undone. Make sure the file is the way you want it before committing to saving. There's a method to use if you want to preserve your original track if you're interested. Just duplicate the track, access the track's properties and click the Save File As button on the far right in ACID Pro 4.0. If using ACID Pro 3.0, hold down CTRL on your keyboard and click the Save button. HTH, Iacobus |
