Subject:Install and open new file

I just installed ver 6.0b. After I opened the app, I clicked on open and the software locks. I have to use taskmanager to close the app as it is not responding.
I'm using ME, lots of ram.
No error msgs.
Any ideas?

I have SF 6b on 98SE and it works like a champ. You might want to ditch ME -- there's probably a reason why it was on the market for about 8 days...

Did you have a previous version of Sound Forge 6.0 on your machine? Or is this a clean install?

It is a new install, never had any SonicFoundry products installed.

I got frustrated, turned off the computer and went to the state fair.
When I returned and turned it on the software worked. Who knows
what that is about. As a software developer myself, I am just happy that it
recovered itself. Thanks for assistance all.
