Subject:MAJOR CRASHING!!!! Posted by: briananeurysm Date:8/27/2002 4:43:38 PM I hope anybody can help me on this one... soundforge 6 was working amazingly well!!... best soundforge yet! .. but i had to reinstall my computer (i use XP) and ofcourse i had to reinstall SF6 aswell. but this time instead of loading up and being badass, it completely hangs my system at the splash screen. I even tried updating to the newer version, but it keeps doing the same thing! whenever i restart the system, windows tells me that my display driver had an error... i use the ATI All in Wonder Radeon 3000DV. (which is the latest version aswell!) does anybody have any hints??? thanks in advance!

I can confirm that it is the ATI video driver, because I have a Radeon 64 MB DDR, and once I installed the new drivers (WinXP 6.13.6118), my previously working SF 6.0 did the same exact thing, it froze the entire computer. But now, I installed the beta drivers, and guess what, SF doesn't freeze anymore, but I get a rundll error from SF saying it can't find a specific program. I have no idea what they are, but I asume something with the video driver.
