Subject:I need help really fast my Acid's aren't working right!!

Okay...In Acid Style 2.0 when ever I try to record vocals I won't get playback in my headphones...Playback is set on so I know it should be using it but it isn't working and I can't figure out why...And on my new Acid Pro 3.0, when I try to record vocals it will playback the instrumental but it won't record anything...The meters free up and when I click I am done it will have nothing recorded...Can someone please help me it killing me!

First thing that comes to my mind: Is your soundcard a full-duplex soundcard? That is, can it playback while it records? Most soundcards can, but some can't (which are half-duplex).

If anything, try also uninstalling and reinstalling ACID in addition to reinstalling your soundcard's drivers.

Can you record a singular track all on its own in a project? (In other words, can you record a track in a project that has no other tracks?)
