Hello Anyone else using an M Audio Delta 44 Sound Card. Downloaded acid 4 last night and have yet to get it to play a single loop without crashing using the M Audio. I think Ive isolated the problem to the sound card as I used the SB Live on my machine and it plays OK but the latency on the VSTi is horrendous. Ive tried downloading the latest drivers for it but still no go. Any ideas anyone please ps The M audio card runs fine with fruity loops and cubase |

if you're using ASIO, it's a known Delta bug and was mentioned in the ACID 4.0 readme. |

Like Charles said, the Delta ASIO bug is very much known now. M-Audio is working on new drivers. (Hey Peter, any updates? I've tried contacting M-Audio but nothing back yet.) I know I have problems too when using my Audiophile 2496's ASIO with ACID 4.0. A workaround? Try switching to WDM drivers instead for now. (Options>Preferences>Audio tab on the menu bar.) Adjust the playback buffering to a lower setting that closely matches ASIO's latency. HTH, Iacobus |

Hello, Yes it seems that some work OK and some don't, when you guys update your drivers do you use the installer first or just overwrite the new to old? I'm thinkin' maybe left behind residue from previous driver installs. Just a thought. See ya, Rockitglider |

That thought occured to me that it might be old driver residue messing things up, so I deleted the old drivers with the M Audio uninstaller, then loaded the new drivers. No difference whatsoever Ian F |

Same here. Guess it's just a matter of waiting. I'm a very patient person as long as it gets done right. :) Iacobus |
