I asked a similar question and the consensus was that there was little value to the loop content, unless you have no loops at all. I think 3-4 loops are included from each of the Loop Libraries Sonic Foundry produces. Here is the last post in the thread by AntiFMstatus: "Also, check with customer service as they were running a free loop content CD OR sound forge 6.0 XP. I got the download version and called SoFo CS and they linked me to an FTP site for the Sound Forge. All the download stuff will save you postage, Tarriffs, and time... As for the Loops, I believe it's content from 8 packs that have been published this year. You can do just as well by starting to collect the 8 packs and downloading all of the sample loops from the other libraries on this site. Reply by: Iacobus Date:9/2/2002 8:42:21 PM Also, don't forget that if worse comes to worse, you can always record your own loops using both ACID Pro 4.0 and Sound Forge Studio 6 should you go for it (which will definitely help you tweak a custom-recorded loop). Sooner or later, you will want to. :) Iacobus
