Subject:Help! I don't hear anything!

I'm very new at this.
I'm trying to record directly from a Triton keyboard.
It looks like it's recording, as there is some VU action, but when I try to play back, I hear nothing - even though the meters are bouncing around on playback, as well.
It may be some really obvious, simple thing, but I don't know, and I don't see a trouble-shooting guide or anything in the manual.

In SoundForge > Options > Preferences > Wave > Playback, make sure the soundcard you want to use is selected.

Check the Windows Mixer (double-click the yellow speaker icon in the systray) be sure the Wave channel is not muted.
