You probably don't have your mixer input settings to record the sound card's output anymore. Double click the little yellow speaker icon to open up the sound card's mixer control panel. Click Options, Properties, Recording, OK. You will now be looking at the recording inputs. Find a channel labeled something like "Mixed Output", "PC Speaker", or "What You Hear" and select it. You will now be recording whatever any other program outputs. Hmmmm. For songs that you were playing in WinAmp, i presume these are finished audio files such as WAV or MP3. If so, why not just open them up in SoundForge directly? For that matter, doesn't Fruity Loops let you output your song as a completed audio file in WAV or MP3 format? |
