Let me just say that I love Acid 4, but I think it may not have been tested correctly... I sort of feel like we're being betatesters now, but we have to pay for it... lol But It is really great, the program.

Ok.

heres another one.

I have a pretty big multifaceted porject going on (Im remaking the song "sungreen"

I have like 10 disk based tracks, About 20 loop tracks, 2 MIDI tracks using Kontakt with a 200MB piano sample, a good amount of automation and plugins, (track compressor and eq on each track, and so on..)
6 busses with 2 or 3 waves plugins on each,
and thats about it...CPU at about 40% ,PF usage at 435MB, RAM used by ACID :315MB

well, sometimes, out of nowhere, Ill use the transport to skip to a different part of the song (this happens with or without pressing stop first) and this loud "clicking" noise will occur over and over again,
Like the sound you get if you cut an audiofile too short before a zero-crossing, like a short wave....

The project will slow down by at least 50% and the CPU flys up to 100% (of course)and its so hard to get to the stop button and stop the song that I usually just have to forcefully close it..

HOWEVER

sometimes when I press CTRL-ALT-DEL at this point, the project frees itself from this situation and stops, or continues playing, (depending if I even got to the stop button b4..)

WEIRD!!!

but, hey, we dont have project restore for nothing..

but these bugs are rather annoying

Im hoping 4.0a isnt faroff and will be a knockout!

Thanks SOFO (yes another maruuk-branded SOFO lackey)

Yes, it's happened to me, too. No fix, though...
