Here's a list of what I've gotten to work: Absynth Alpha Cheeze Machine Crystal DMI Hammer Dr-002 Dr-005 Enigmatron ZR-1 Organ Crazy Diamonds ZR-3 Organ GalactiX Ganymede JX220 MDA Piano Phatmatik Phatmatik Pro PlugSound Muon Tau Mysteron RM F SampleTank Satyr TickyKlav Triangle 1 Triangle 2 VB-1 Vivaldi I've got a stack of others that don't work, but they're all free stuff that might've not been coded that well in the first place. Could be Acid's problem too. Hard to tell. When I get more data, I'll probably compile a list so they can be addressed in the next version. - Nick |

That's a good idea. If need-be, I can host a webpage where we could publish a list of synths that are known to work with Acid 4 and provide links to their websites. If you're looking for more stuff to play with, try KvR and VST Central. Both are excellent rousources. - Nick |

You can add VSampler 2.74 and DR008 to the list. Other than DR008, ACID sees none of the Sonar 2 installed VSTi's. HTH! Stéphane Bergeron |

I couldn't get the demo of Vsampler 2.74 to work. I had one BSOD and various messages as follows: "Exception in Process:Access violation at address 5116CA90 in module 'VSamplerVST.dll'. Write of address 054B4000 Please notify SpeedSoft with the above information !" I wish I could get Vsampler to work as I'd like to be able to use soundfonts. Does anyone know of any Soft Synths that work with Acid 4.0 using soundfonts? Thanks, Chris (Hunt) |

Keep these coming everyone. I'll probably have the list posted tonight or tomorrow. If you already listed here, could you also provide website addresses for the ones you've tested? E-mail me at hazed_red@hotmail.com if it's too big to put here. - Nick |
