i downloaded the trial version of acidpro4 and soundforge6. then when i insert a mp3 file in the track and then want to playback it, it will not give any sound with acidpro4 ,but when i tried it on SF6 it plays the mp3 and i can hear it. Does anybody has a answer for it? to let me hear mp3 songs with acidpro4, so that i can edit and mix it with other mp3 songs |

I can't help you do what you want but I can recommend that you don't do it. Besides the fact that MP3s aren't as good as waves for quality reasons, MP3 audio is compressed and must be decompressed to be played through your sound card. You're adding a lot of overhead to decompress a bunch of MP3s on the fly to make music with them. Convert them to waves and have fun. I believe you get a version of Sound Forge with certain versions of Acid. In the mean time, to play with Acid some, use WinAmp to convert your MP3s to waves (it's in the output options). TeeCee |

mrgrimm Are you able to hear other file formats in ACID? This is important, as it means the difference between a problem with ACID using the MP3 format on your machine, or the possibility that you just don't have the correct sound card configuration. Please let me know. Nate |
