I'm getting a RUNDLL error whenever I open ACID 3.0 and Sound Forge 6.0. My machine has a fresh copy of Win XP installed and it been striped down to be a dedicated audio machine (ie services turned off except for the five needed to run and other tweaks to registry). They still work perfectly but only after I click ok (for sound forge I have to click twice). Would the update patch fix this or is this a problem of SF needs a certain service to run?

It sounds like you disabled 8.3 filenames when you made "tweaks" to the registry. Re-enable 8.3 filenames and the rundll error should go away.
